We cover Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany and Plaquemines parishes, and the housing genuinely differs enough to change the work. Gentilly and the older Orleans neighbourhoods vary block to block in elevation, so a raised house and a slab house a few streets apart behave differently. St. Bernard is largely post-Katrina rebuild, where the quality of that rebuild determines what we find behind the walls. The West Bank runs from historic pier-and-beam in Gretna to uniform post-war slab in Terrytown. Across the lake, Slidell takes surge rather than street flooding. Common Questions
Do you charge for travel across the metro or the north shore?
Not within our normal coverage. Slidell and the north shore involve crossing the lake, so we schedule those in blocks and give you a realistic arrival window rather than an optimistic one.
How quickly can you inspect?
Free inspections are usually within a day or two, and same day where there is active water. After a storm the queue lengthens, and we prioritise active water events over assessments of existing growth.
