Our Mold Removal Services
Mold Removal & Remediation
Complete mold removal using industry-standard containment, HEPA filtration, and EPA-registered antimicrobials. We eliminate mold at the source and take steps to prevent regrowth. Our remediation process follows IICRC S520 standards.
Black Mold Removal
Stachybotrys chartarum (black mold) requires specialized removal protocols due to its toxicity. Our certified technicians use full PPE, negative air pressure containment, and document every step of the process for your insurance claim.
Mold Inspection
Not sure if you have mold? Our certified inspectors conduct visual assessments combined with moisture meter readings and thermal imaging to locate hidden moisture sources and early-stage mold growth before it becomes a major problem.
Mold Testing
Laboratory-certified air quality sampling and surface testing. We identify mold species and quantify spore concentrations so you know exactly what you’re dealing with. Results in 24–48 hours with a full written report.
Water Damage Mold Remediation
Flooding and water intrusion are the #1 cause of mold in New Orleans homes. We specialize in post-flood mold remediation, working directly with insurance adjusters and providing full documentation for your claim.
Post-Remediation Clearance Testing
After remediation is complete, clearance testing confirms that mold spore counts have returned to normal levels. This is required by many insurance companies and gives you documented proof that the problem has been fully resolved.

Remediation is not cleaning. Wiping visible growth off a surface with bleach removes the stain and leaves the problem, because the moisture that grew it is still there and the material underneath is still colonised. Proper remediation follows a sequence: find and stop the moisture source first, because nothing else holds if you skip it; contain the work area under negative pressure so spores are not distributed through the rest of the house; remove porous material that cannot be cleaned rather than treating it; HEPA filtration throughout; then antimicrobial treatment of what remains and controlled drying. Post-remediation verification confirms it worked. We document each stage, which matters both for your peace of mind and for any insurance claim.
Common Questions
Can I just clean it myself with bleach?
On a small area of hard, non-porous surface, cleaning is reasonable. Bleach does not penetrate porous materials like drywall or wood, so on those it removes the colour and leaves the growth. And if the moisture source is still active it returns regardless of what you use.
Do I need to leave the house during remediation?
Usually not. Containment and negative air pressure are designed to keep the work area separate from the rest of the house. Where the affected area is large or central we will discuss it with you rather than deciding for you.
How do you know it worked?
Post-remediation verification — visual inspection plus testing where warranted, ideally by an independent party rather than the company that did the work. We are happy to work alongside a third-party assessor, and we would gently suggest that any remediator reluctant to be verified is worth questioning.
